c) Collection, processing, and use of your personal data

aa) Usage data

W&L Internationale Golf Corporation will automatically store various general data and information about the accessing system ("usage data") on the servers of W&L Internationale Golf Corporation whenever a webpage of awgc.com is pulled up. This usage data includes the date and time of the server query, the browser type and version used, and the operating system of the accessing system as well as the website through which the user landed on the webpages of awgc.com (so-called "referrer"), subpages opened on the webpages of awgc.com, internet protocol address (IP address), and the comparable data.

Usage data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 ltr. f of the European General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) - ("GDPR").

W&L Internationale Golf Corporation needs usage data in order to make the webpages of awgc.com available, to maintain the technical functionality of the webpages, and prevent or possibly track misuse of the offerings of awgc.com. Usage data is used in anonymized form, meaning without the ability to identify specific users, exclusively to optimize the webpages of awgc.com and for statistical purposes.

bb) Cookies

The webpages of awgc.com use cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on the user's data storage media that exchange certain settings and data with the systems of awgc.com through the user's web browser. A cookie generally contains a string of characters that webpages and servers can associate with a specific web browser once the cookie has been saved ("cookie ID"). (1) On our website www.awgc.com, W&L Internationale Golf Aktiengesellschaft uses so-called temporary cookies or session cookies, which are automatically deleted as soon as the user closes their browser. cc) The following also applies in the case of registration for the Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup and participation in the competition/raffle:

When registering for the Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup, which is done on the website www.awgc.com by using the "Register and win" button, the personal data you entered in the input section will be collected by W&L Internationale Golf Aktiengesellschaft, saved, and processed for the purpose of running the competition and the raffle. The processing of the aforementioned personal data is based on Article 6(1), points (b) and (f) of the GDPR.

If you provide the personal data mentioned during the registration process, this is done on an expressly voluntary basis. However, this provision of data is required so that you can register and participate in the Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup and the competition/raffle. Without the provision of personal data, there will be no registration and therefore no participation in the Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup and the competition/raffle.

dd) In addition, the following data will be displayed on the website www.awgc.com with when your name and your golf club is entered:

  • Details of the tournaments you have played (golf course, game day, tournament results such as gross and net scores), ranking and ranking points, HCP, number of tournaments played
  • Any prizes you may have won (date of win, type of win)

The processing of the aforementioned personal data is based on the consent you have given (Article 6(1), point (a) of the GDPR).

W&L Internationale Golf Corporation does not use these cookies to identify the user and does not connect the stored information with personal user data.
